Position: Full-Time Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, CF14 Area, Cardiff
Start Date: After Easter
Pay: £89 – 95 per day
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a lovely primary school in the CF14 area of Cardiff, seeking a passionate and dedicated Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class from after Easter. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to Reception pupils, assisting with their learning and development.
• Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Help create a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Assist with the development of Welsh language skills, promoting bilingual learning.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all students.

Key Requirements:

• Fluent in Welsh (both written and spoken).
• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
