The Revive shops sell a wide range of pre-owned items that would previously have gone into landfill and are now being taken out of the waste stream and put back to good use.
What will I be doing?
- Assessing the stock that comes into the shop, as well as waste flow, to ensure suitability for sale, making sure that prohibited/unsafe items are removed.
- Serving customers and building relationships, including support and sales advice to ensure repeat custom.
- Working with the wider team to research stock items to understand their value, merchandise stock, and create an understanding of what works well in the shop.
- Ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are upheld within the shop.
- Maintaining the security of the shop premises, stock, and all shop monies.
- Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork.
- Any other duties required to achieve the smooth and profitable running of the shop.
- Encouraging and promoting the Revive Charity scheme.
What are the requirements?
- Full training and uniform/PPE will be provided.
- A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
- Excellent teamwork skills and customer service.
