Job description

Senior Health Safety Environment Advisor

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Senior HSE Advisor to join a market leading business. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that installation of their high quality products sites meet all health, safety, and compliance requirements across multiple contracts nationwide.

You’ll be working closely with Site Management teams to promote a culture of safety excellence, carrying out site inspections, producing risk assessments, and providing expert HSE guidance to our employees and contractors. This role is fully remote with extensive travel predominantly across the Midlands and the South. The package comes with a fully expensed car and fuel card.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop site-specific method statements (RAMS)
  • Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with Site Management to ensure safe delivery and installation of our products
  • Provide HSE advice, training, and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors
  • Keep up to date with legislation and industry best practices
  • Produce management reports, including daily and weekly updates
  • Investigate site accidents and ensure corrective actions are in place
  • Maintain and manage HSE policies, certifications, and training records

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Experience in construction site safety and regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of fire regulations, hazardous substances, working at height, and occupational health
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel nationwide as required
