Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that meet the needs of all students, in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a stimulating learning environment where students can develop a passion for scientific inquiry.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to help them reach their full potential.
Support the development of practical skills through hands-on experiments and projects.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the department's resources and initiatives.
Participate in school-wide activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
A degree in Science with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Previous experience teaching science at KS3/4 is desirable but not essential.
Excellent subject knowledge across the key scientific disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
