Are you a food innovator of the future? Start your New Product Development career with this fantastic placement opportunity by joining the world’s leading Flavours and Fragrance Company, Givaudan. Working in Milton Keynes, you will begin your journey into the world of flavours in food, being involved in applying flavourings into consumer goods for new product development and customer presentations.

During the placement you will be:

1. Actively involved in the formulation of food concepts for customer projects. Developing your tasting pallet as you optimise appropriate submissions.
2. Responsible for several supporting tasks and raw material stocks within the lab.
3. Supported and mentored by Givaudan Application Team in obtaining many new transferable skills, such as project management, communication, and practical lab methods.
4. Learning about many aspects of the food industry and identifying possible future career opportunities.
5. Developing your existing knowledge of market trends and influences.
6. Attending weekly project review meetings to contribute to progress updates.
7. Participate in all aspects of the process to fully understand the contribution Givaudan makes to the successful launch of new products to the market.

Your professional profile:

• Currently studying second year BSc Food Science or Technology.
• Strong practical Food Science/Recipe skills.
• Word and Excel skills.
• A full driving license would be an advantage.
