Interim Warehouse Manager

We're looking for a diligent Interim Warehouse Manager to overhaul the current warehouse operations and set this growing business up for success moving forward. The role will be based at the Head Office location on the Wirral and will be a contract for c6 months Outside IR35.

Description

As the interim Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Analysing and improving current warehouse operations
2. Developing procedures to ensure a smooth workflow
3. Implementing and enforcing safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
4. Coordinating and organising logistics functions
5. Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
6. Delivering continuous improvement initiatives
7. Managing and leading a team, fostering a culture of teamwork and productivity
8. Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
9. Liaising with other departments to ensure efficient operations

Profile

The successful Interim Warehouse Manager should have:

1. Experience in a similar warehouse management position, ideally managing a change programme
2. A proven track record of managing a team
3. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
4. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
6. A hands-on approach and problem-solving abilities
7. Experience with a stock management system
