Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a SEND Senior Practitioner Auditor to work full time based in Haringey.

The salary for this permanent SEND Senior Practitioner Auditor job is up to £50,890 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  1. To work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and SEND Performance Manager to ensure the implementation and delivery of the SEND Quality Assurance Framework through an agreed programme of audit activity.
  2. To allocate audits of EHCPS and Annual Reviews as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, including working to audit specifications and writing bespoke audit tools.
  3. To analyse audit data and prepare written reports on the audit findings.
  4. To prepare reports and deliver presentations on audit findings to staff at all levels of the Department and to partners from the agencies who support statutory assessment including health and social care.
  5. To support the Quality Assurance Manager in embedding quality assurance processes, including audit activity, across the SEND Service.
  6. To be responsible for collating, maintaining and reporting on data identified areas of practice.
  7. To work closely with the Children's Workforce Development Team to ensure that findings from quality assurance activity are reflected in appropriate training for staff.
  8. Through the quality assurance and audit process to report to the Policy and Procedures Officer to ensure that policies and procedures are relevant to the needs of children and families.
  9. Understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines that ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work, Data Protection, and other statutory requirements.
  10. Understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Council's Equal Opportunities.
  11. To undertake any other temporary responsibilities aligned with the overall purpose and grade of the role.
Requirements:
  1. A Social Work Degree or equivalent.
  2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
  3. Social Work England registered.
  4. Good written and verbal communication skills.
