Casual Catering Assistant

We have the perfect opportunity for a Casual Catering Assistant ready to join our front of house team at WWT London Wetland Centre, a small visitor attraction, which welcomes 130,000 visitors each year.

You will provide a warm and informative welcome to all our visitors and inspire them to get closer to nature by providing exceptional customer service. You will be taking orders and payments, making lots of coffee, serving our seasonal menu and clearing tables while engaging with our visitors and giving them an amazing experience.

Responsibilities

• Working in front and back of house to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of our catering offer
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following organisational standards and food safety regulations
• Able to work on your own and as part of the team
• Ensuring our visitors receive welcoming and warm service, providing them with an unforgettable experience
• Assisting with product presentation
• Cashing up tills at the end of the day

This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays.
