Job Description

The key responsibilities for the Field Sales Manager - Independent Pharmacy Channel are:

  • Develop and implement sales plans to increase market share, revenue, and brand awareness within the Independent Pharmacy Channel.
  • Leverage your existing network of contacts to build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision makers in Independent Pharmacies.
  • Take responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly analyse market trends and competitor activities, providing actionable insights to enhance sales performance.
  • Provide training and product information to pharmacy staff, in line with trade marketing guidelines, ensuring they're equipped with the knowledge to effectively promote products.
  • Participate in Pharmacy Trade Shows/Events/Business Meetings to promote the company's products and strengthen the marketing positioning.
  • Work closely with Marketing to align Sales efforts with promotional strategies, ensuring maximum impact in the marketplace.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, KPIs, and customer feedback to senior management regularly.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Field Sales Manager - Independent Pharmacy Channel will:

  • Be experienced within the Independent Pharmacy Channel or Healthcare/Pharmacy/Consumer Healthcare Industries and be able to hit the ground running.
  • Have experience in Journey Planning, being organised and seeking to gain New Business.
  • Have established relationships with key decision makers in this space.
  • Work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results in a target-driven environment.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong presentation skills.
  • Identify customer needs and tailor solutions to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Have a willingness to travel extensively within your region.
  • Have knowledge of Consumer Healthcare/OTC.
