Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assembly & Test Services Manager to oversee the management and efficient operation of Assembly and Test and Machine Shop facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that onshore and offshore operations meet customer requirements with high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Overseeing the safe and effective running of subsea operations, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.
  • Providing cost-effective solutions to clients while ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with other service lines to support diversification beyond oil and gas.
  • Managing and optimising resources, including manpower, equipment, and consumables.
  • Leading and guiding teams to develop new skills and improve workforce capabilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures, including internal and external audits.
  • Providing financial oversight, including budget management and monthly forecasting.
Applicants to this role require
  • HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in subsea and surface oil & gas industries.
  • 3-4 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
