Salary: Competitive Salary & Benefits Package

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)

Your Role, Your Impact

As a Service Charge Accountant (Experienced Level), you will manage and oversee service charge accounts for residential and commercial properties, including budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting. This role ensures compliance with regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining service charge cost estimates.
  • Manage a portfolio of service charge accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review financial statements for homeowners.
  • Answer queries from key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Manage the annual service charge audit process and liaise with auditors for portfolio.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience within Finance roles.
  • Good knowledge and high attention to detail in financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (property management software is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
