Premium / Proportional Treaty Technician – Hybrid

Are you a Premium / Proportional Treaty Technician with experience working in the London Market or general insurance? Do you have experience analysing and processing XOL and Proportional Treaty Accounts and working together with an offshore service provider? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are recruiting for a Premium and Proportional Treaty Technician to join our team in London. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both at home and from the office.

What the day will look like

The Premium / Proportional Treaty Technician will be primarily responsible for the handling of XOL Premium and Proportional Treaty Accounts emanating from business placed by Sales teams.

  • Working closely with Sales and Offshore processing teams to guarantee timely processing of both XOL premium and Proportional Treaty Accounts;
  • Working closely with Sales and Offshore teams for Query resolution;
  • Regular contact with Clients and Markets to meet all service requirements;
  • Using London Market systems (IMR / Insurance Portal / Lloyds Account Enquiry, LORS);
  • Credit control - liaising with Accounts Department to facilitate collection and payment of funds;
  • Monitoring and management of unallocated cash;
  • Monitoring and management of held funds;
  • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience of processing and submitting XOL Premiums and Proportional Treaty Accounts;
  • Familiar with the use of London Market systems;
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage their own workflow and meet deadlines.
