Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in CREO to join our remote team. The role is heavily project-focused, involving the design and development of advanced conveying and separation systems. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions for robotic sorting applications, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CREO, with a focus on conveying and separation solutions.
- Collaborate remotely with a team of engineers to conceptualise, design, and implement robotic sorting systems.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
- Conduct design analysis and simulations to ensure structural integrity, safety, and performance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Participate in virtual design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably with a focus on conveying systems or automation solutions.
- Proficiency in CREO is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including stress analysis, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with robotic sorting systems or automation integration.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and virtual project management platforms.
