Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in CREO to join our remote team. The role is heavily project-focused, involving the design and development of advanced conveying and separation systems. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions for robotic sorting applications, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CREO, with a focus on conveying and separation solutions.
• Collaborate remotely with a team of engineers to conceptualise, design, and implement robotic sorting systems.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
• Conduct design analysis and simulations to ensure structural integrity, safety, and performance.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably with a focus on conveying systems or automation solutions.
• Proficiency in CREO is essential.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including stress analysis, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with robotic sorting systems or automation integration.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and virtual project management platforms.
