Job Description
Manage a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors, serving as their primary point of contact for accounting and business advisory services
Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial reports for SMEs and larger corporate clients
Lead client meetings, identify business improvement opportunities, and provide strategic financial advice
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, overseeing workflow and ensuring high-quality service delivery
Contribute to practice development through identifying new service opportunities and supporting business development initiatives
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures
Work closely with Partners on complex client matters and special projects
The Successful Applicant
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
Demonstrable experience at Manager level within a practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
Team leadership experience with proven ability to develop others
Commercial awareness and the ability to provide value-added advice to clients
Experience with accounting software packages including Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
