We have an exciting opportunity at Barnet Hospital to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to become part of an integrated Rapid Emergency and Acute Care Therapy Team (REACTT).
The successful candidates are required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. Applicants should have experience and skills in transdisciplinary working, be flexible and able to work in the fast-paced areas of the Emergency Department, Assessment units and Same Day Emergency Floor and Clinics.
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate therapists, who are keen to develop their specialist clinical knowledge and management skills. The successful candidates should be forward-thinking and proactive with excellent organisational and clinical skills within the fast-paced Emergency Department setting, to facilitate admission avoidance and safe discharges. Good communication skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions under pressure are also required. The successful applicant will be required to work 37.5 hours a week within a 7 day and extended hour service.
The Therapy Department will support the successful applicants by means of regular supervision, appraisal and training.
The Therapies Team are passionate about developing and delivering a world class care service, and will provide training and development opportunities, including supervision and appraisal, to ensure you are supported in your role.
