Job description

Gleeson has exclusively teamed up with a leading international freight forwarder to find a driven Freight Business Development professional for their growing Manchester office. This is an exciting chance to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced, global industry.

Duties:
  • Proactively identifying new sales opportunities and managing your pipeline in alignment with company strategy.
  • Engaging with and presenting to high-level prospects, including suite executives, to showcase the benefits of innovative technology they may not yet be familiar with.
  • Providing expert customer support, including estimates and tailored proposals.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by offering guidance, identifying new opportunities, and recommending business development solutions.
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of and enthusiasm for the freight product.
  • Thriving in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Upholding high-quality service standards by establishing and enforcing organisational best practices.
