Remote (UK) with monthly travel to London

Compensation

Objective

Provide medical input and knowledge for the company to drive product development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of Healthily’s AI Health Navigation Platform
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the medical team to calibrate existing medical data
  • Source new medical data points using evidence-based research
  • Deploy and test additional symptoms and conditions into the Healthily platform in order to enhance its medical coverage
  • Maintain a clinical safety management system and apply the principles of clinical safety to decisions about the product and partnerships
  • Write/review and/or edit medical/health related content based on clinical knowledge and evidence
  • Work with other teams, such as product, commercial, content and artificial intelligence team to help drive improvements of the product and to introduce new features
  • Analyse log data to develop key insights and input into the overall strategy of the product
  • Leading on special medical areas such as medical content/medical epidemiology/clinical safety/medical affairs/device regulation
  • Leading on Hazard assessments and work up on clinical safety incidents
  • Assist Clinical Operations Director in the performance of their role including deputising where necessary

Experience

  • Post-CCT qualification experience as a doctor in a healthcare setting or past experience as a senior clinical lead
  • Current GMC licence to practice
  • Experience in any of: scientific research, digital health technology or epidemiology
  • Accredited Clinical Safety Officer with experience in clinical safety (desirable, although clinical safety training can be provided)
  • Experience working with symptom checkers or AI health navigation
  • Experience in scientific research, especially work with epidemiological data
  • Experience of working in a healthcare system outside of the UK
  • Implementation or maintenance of a clinical safety management system
  • Experience or interest in medical device regulation
  • Detailed knowledge and/or experience of UK, EU and other international medical device regulation legislation
  • Experience in medical device regulation clinical trials
  • Experience in private healthcare especially private insurance remote GP services

  • A numerate individual who is comfortable with data interpretation and analysis
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Pragmatism

Knowledge

  • Degree in Medicine
  • Fully qualified GP or a generalist doctor who is post-CCT (experience as senior clinical lead in health tech can be accounted for CCT)
  • Evidence of participation in revalidation and maintenance of clinical knowledge relating to clinical practice in the UK and adherence to NICE guidelines
