Our client has an opportunity for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities alongside your colleagues by taking a 'Whole Force' approach to our activities and ensuring that the company's excellent safety and delivery reputation is always maintained.
Role: Licensed Aircraft Engineer Location: Glasgow Airport Hours: Full time / Permanent Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve SC clearance
Responsibilities:
Coordinating all CAA part 145 paperwork
H&S of all equipment and reporting of any faults and diagnostic problems
Providing a CRS signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance
Essential Requirements:
Aircraft inspections, repair and maintenance
Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract
Line support tasks
Type Rating on Grob 115E aircraft and Lycoming 360 engines
Have previously worked in a pt.145 environment
Experience in the aircraft maintenance industry
Qualifications Required:
Recognised SHEQ Qualification
Working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS)
EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license
Clean driving licence
