Job description

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Care Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Boston, Lincolnshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.


The home specialises in providing nursing and residential care for service users with dementia, learning disabilities or sensory impairment.


To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a current active NMC Pin or hold experience in managing nursing homes.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Effectively manage your staff, providing information, guidance and ongoing supervision and support, recruiting new staff and continually develop and encourage your team.
  2. Working with your Area Manager, ensure that business objectives and the CQC compliance criteria are met by cultivating good working relationships with all stakeholders and actively working in a collaborative way to ensure outstanding service and care levels.
  3. Have full commercial control and work closely with the Customer Relations Team to ensure optimum occupancy is maintained in your home through creative marketing strategies while ensuring cost control over fees and staffing.
  4. Submit regular management information reporting on all aspects of the home, including occupancy levels, fees, budget controls, and staffing.
  5. Work closely with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure the best standards in the home’s environment, including food presentation standards, housekeeping standards, and the care and maintenance of residents' clothing and building.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Care Home Management role with at least 3 years' experience as a Registered Home Manager with CQC.
  2. Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care.
  3. A proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning.
  4. Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading, and motivating others.
  5. Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate.

The successful Registered Care Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working on days. In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive the following generous benefits:
