Key responsibilities:

  • You will work alongside an experienced team, that will help you learn the entire process of digital graphics production, from the creation of graphics, the use of print technology, cutting/preparation of graphics, and application on site.
  • You will learn how to erect signage and apply graphics on site for a range of clients, so you will see the finished results of our work in areas like advertising, train carriages, and commercial vehicle fleets.
  • Accredited through the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), you will study to achieve the Signage Technician Level 3 qualification.

Training to be Provided
  • Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 3 Signage Technician Standard, plus any relevant Maths and English functional skills (if needed).
  • Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by both Stewart Signs and the BPIF. You will be assigned a training coordinator. Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit both your own and business needs.
  • Most training and studying will be site-based.
  • You should be comfortable with planning your workload as you progress through the apprenticeship.
