Head Chef - The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge at Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill

What you will do as a Head Chef
  1. Responsible for managing food costs in accordance with budget & the hotel business plan.
  2. Responsible for seasonal menu change.
  3. Work successfully with other teams to maximize guest satisfaction and enhance guest dining experiences.
  4. Ensure that all colleagues report for duty punctually, wear the correct uniform at all times and adhere to the Hotel and department’s grooming standards.
  5. Supervise colleagues within the department, making sure that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Departmental Operations Manual.
  6. Train, coach & mentor culinary colleagues to ensure they have the skills necessary to perform their duties effectively, ensuring maximum colleague engagement.
  7. Recruit future culinary talent and manage the performance of the team.
  8. Implement effective training programs for colleagues in coordination with the Learning Manager and/or Departmental Trainer.
