This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require 1 day travel into our Coventry head office. This may fluctuate in line with business requirements. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

Quality and Registry Team:

You will sit within our Quality and Registry team, which is the University’s administration hub for our students. It is responsible for a wide range of functions, from governance through to student administration, marking, and assessment. The team is also responsible for processing all results and grades for the students and producing all certificates that are awarded at the graduation ceremony.

About the Role:

You will have responsibility for managing the effective operation of the University’s Examination Boards and providing support for associated Quality Assurance processes within the team to include:

  • Providing high-level secretarial support for the University’s Award and Assessment Boards
  • Managing external sampling and reporting processes for all University programmes and PSRBs
  • Providing advice and guidance to colleagues on matters relating to University regulation and governance
About You:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Quality Administrator with experience in providing high-level administrative support to formal committees and meetings involving internal and external stakeholders.

Essential requirements:

  • HNC or HND in a relevant subject, or equivalent qualifications/certification, plus considerable experience in relevant roles
  • Proven track record of extensive relevant work experience
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads to meet specific deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
  • Clear understanding of the use and interpretation of regulations and policies and procedures

Desirable requirements:

  • Degree qualified
  • Experience of working in a Higher Education/Further Education environment
  • Awareness of developments in higher education and external professional environment that impact on the role
