Temporary Geography Teacher – Immediate Start

A highly regarded secondary school in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Temporary Teacher of Geography to join their team starting ideally ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, ensuring engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Plan and adapt lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, maintaining continuity for students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition during this temporary cover period.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• The ability to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of a supportive team.
