We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Manager to join our team!

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our organisation's data governance framework, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security across all business units. You will develop and implement comprehensive data governance strategies and policies, oversee data quality initiatives, implement data quality management processes, design and implement data governance metrics and reporting mechanisms, and conduct regular audits and assessments of data governance practices.

This role will suit a proactive doer, someone who can roll their sleeves up to get it done and focus on progress and not immediate perfection!

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

BSc or equivalent in IT, Information systems, Engineering or other STEM related discipline
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate experience with Data governance, data management or related roles
Have proven experience deploying data governance solutions
Be experienced with managing Material Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
Have worked in mid cap sized businesses (1,000 - 15,000 employees) serving industrial business to business markets
Have practical experience with building capability from the ground up
