Associate Director – Commercial Management

Are you an ambitious professional ready to take on the role of Associate Director? Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and manage large and complex projects, ensuring service excellence and positive outcomes.

As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for strategic planning and business development, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, and driving innovation in service delivery. You will support the Managing Director in achieving business goals and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, ensuring service excellence.
  • Oversee financial performance, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and meet profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.

  • Competitive Salary: IRO £70,000
  • Pension Scheme: Join the Workplace Pension Scheme with contributions negotiable up to 6%.

Requirements:

  • Full clean UK Drivers Licence
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • MRICS/MCIOB qualified
  • Flexibility in working hours and travel
  • Proven experience in delivering medium to large projects (£5m to £50m+), ideally with experience in Hotel and Leisure sectors.
  • Excellent pre and post contract technical cost and commercial management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Knowledge of different construction processes and IT-based solutions.
