Job description

Childcare Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about providing the very best start in life for young children and supporting them in a nurturing and stimulating environment is required for a day nursery in Acton, West London.

Ideally you will be Level 3 qualified or have previous experience in a childcare setting (training will be provided).

SALARY: £12.50 - £13.00 per Hour

LOCATION: Acton, West London (W3)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

Working as a Childcare Early Years Practitioner, you will join a nursery team that is committed to providing the highest levels of care and education for all the children who attend.

As a Childcare Early Years Practitioner, you will join a nursery that believes in fostering a love of learning through play and creating a safe, happy, and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

DUTIES

  1. Providing the best care and learning opportunities for children
  2. Building positive relationships with staff, parents, and children
  3. Taking on the role of a Key Person
  4. Being an active member of the team, challenging yourself and the children daily
  5. Keeping a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
  6. Building and maintaining relationships with parents and other carers to facilitate the daily learning and care of the children
  7. Providing support to other nursery staff members
  8. Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and individual needs
  9. Advising the Nursery Manager about concerns relating to a child or parent while respecting confidentiality requirements
  10. Adhering to the nursery’s policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements relating to childcare
  11. Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene
  12. Creating fun and educational activities for the children under their care

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Level 3 Early Years qualification or experience working in a childcare setting (additional training provided)
  2. Ability to communicate confidently with adults and children
  3. Able to work well within a team
  4. Good verbal and written communication skills
