Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transactions: Efficiently handle all financial transactions, including client and office account payments, receipts, and transfers.
2. Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Law Society of Scotland Accounts Rules and other relevant regulations.
3. Bank Reconciliations: Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
4. Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client ledgers.
5. Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual accounts.
6. Client Support: Provide exceptional financial support and guidance to our clients, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar financial role within the legal sector.
2. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Law Society of Scotland Account Rule.
3. Skills: Strong numerical skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Education: Relevant financial qualification is preferred.
6. Technology: Comfortable with remote working tools and technology.
