Mechanical Plumber – FM Service Provider – Crawley – £38,000 - Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a mechanical plumber to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a large commercial estate. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

This position would be ideal for a Maintenance Plumber or mechanical engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £38,000, which is a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of Work & Package Information

1. Basic Salary of £38,000
2. Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
3. Free Parking on site
4. Call out 1 in 4
5. Overtime available
6. 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
7. Tablet & Work Phone Provided
8. Full company uniform

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Monitor mechanical plant
2. 60% of the work involved is plumbing work (Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc)
3. Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
4. Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
5. Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
6. Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
7. General building fabric
8. Escort specialist sub contractors

Requirements

1. Plumbing - City & Guilds Level 2 (Essential)
2. Plumbing – City & Guilds level 3 (Preferred)
3. Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
4. A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
5. Multi-skilled
6. Good communication skills
7. Client Facing
