Senior Solutions Architect (Contract)
Security Clearance: Minimum SC clearance required, DV may be required
Location: TBC
Contract Type: Initial 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to lead and deliver high-assurance solutions within a complex technology landscape. This role is suited to professionals with a strong background in solution architecture, identity and cybersecurity functions, and secure boundary solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of delivering scalable on-premise components and solutions with limited connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership - Guide multi-disciplinary teams to drive coherent and compliant solutions.

• Vision & Roadmap Development - Translate client needs into realistic and deliverable technology programs.

• Design Excellence - Lead and assure solution architecture, high-level, and low-level design in collaboration with engineering specialists.

• Specialist Advice - Provide deep technical expertise across areas such as Identity, Monitoring, Patching, Health & Performance, and Network Security.

• Client Relationship Management - Establish trusted relationships with clients, offering actionable technical recommendations to support their vision.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing or delivering complex IT solutions.

• Expertise in developing technical roadmaps and architecture artefacts that drive meaningful change.

• Strong knowledge of IT security principles and high-assurance system design.

• Hands-on experience with deploying and configuring enterprise IT solutions across the full engineering lifecycle.

• Proven ability to develop and assure architecture and design documentation.

• Understanding of the requirements lifecycle, trade-off management, and incremental delivery.

• Knowledge of hosting technologies, including virtualization, containerisation, and orchestration.
