Harrington Starr has partnered with a leading financial institution on a mission to transform investment banking through cutting-edge technology. Their Investment Banking Middle Office Technology team plays a crucial role in enabling efficient trade management with institutional counterparties.

As part of their greenfield initiative, they're rebuilding their Middle Office Systems using modern, scalable technologies to support business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop next-generation Middle Office System
2. Build highly scalable and performant applications
3. Take ownership of full automation, production deployments, and monitoring
4. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to shape solutions
5. Contribute to agile best practices

Key Requirements:

1. 5+ years of core Java development experience
2. Expertise in microservices architectures (Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes)
3. Strong experience with GUI technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML5)
4. Experience in full SDLC (Git, Maven, Bamboo)
5. Strong understanding of modern software design & architecture
6. A proactive mindset and a collaborative approach
7. Up to £110,000 base salary
