At Randstad, we are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 primary teacher to deliver high-quality education, foster a love for learning, and support pupil progress in a welcoming school setting in the LS23 area of Leeds.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  2. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
  4. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a structured and supportive classroom
  5. Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff to address individual learning needs
  6. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to build strong home-school relationships
  7. Encourage pupil independence and critical thinking through interactive and varied teaching methods
  8. Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and school events
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS2
  2. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations
  3. Excellent classroom management skills with a positive and engaging teaching style
  4. Ability to differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs, including SEN pupils
  5. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents
  6. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  7. Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  8. Ability to work in the UK without any restrictions (NO Sponsorship)
