The ideal candidate will have sufficient work experience and training to deeply understand and analyse the current technical environment and to explain how BridgeHead technology can be optimally deployed to benefit the customer.

You will play a vital role in the implementation of our HealthStore solution, providing technical expertise, guidance and leadership to customers and partners with the technical implementation process. Applicants should have extensive work experience in a technical role within digital healthcare. You will be an effective communicator and capable of engaging end-users and partner staff in both one-to-one and group settings. You will be capable of documenting the customer’s IT/backup infrastructure in order to provide the customer and BridgeHead Support staff with an accurate representation of the environment. In addition to providing installation services, the Professional Services Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation architecture of complex technical solutions at customer sites including scoping and developing custom solutions within BridgeHead software suite. The position requires a strong sense of independence, high energy levels, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities
Implementation of BridgeHead Software Products

  • Monitoring of migration activities, and triage and resolution of migration issues, including for DICOM migrations
  • Secondary responsibility for the installation and configuration of BridgeHead’s RAPid Backup solution and FileStore archiving
  • Collaborate with project managers, development engineers, data migration specialists and other stakeholders to ensure migration tasks are completed on time and in line with project objectives
  • Recognise project risks, roadblocks, and deficiencies and report to Project Management before they impact the project’s timelines, goals, and budget
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and issues with the project team and clients as required
  • Assist with the qualification, scoping, and sales process for “non-standard” service offerings and assist with SOW and design specification creation to support such engagements
  • Ability to work “off-hours” on occasion during projects to minimise the impact on hospital staff
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and stay current on new BridgeHead products
  • Ensure prospects, customers and partners understand the BridgeHead value proposition, the technical superiority of our solutions, and our ability to help solve their identified business needs
  • Maintain a strong up to date knowledge of BridgeHead Software solutions, competitive technical strategies, implementation “best practices”, and how the BridgeHead solutions can best be deployed to meet customer’s business needs and address current business challenges
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to customers, partners, and professional services consultants
  • Implement and support complex, multi-faceted solutions in real-time customer healthcare environments as part of a multi-vendor project
  • Successfully deliver both onsite and remote implementations of BridgeHead solutions within the required time frames allotted for the engagement
  • Maintain supporting documentation for implementations to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer within the Professional Services Team and throughout the rest of the organisation
  • Clearly document the detail and status of completed installations to effectively communicate the implemented environment to QA and Support groups
