Sous Chef – Prestigious Winery Restaurant | Near Sevenoaks, UK

The Opportunity

Are you a passionate and ambitious Sous Chef looking to make your mark in an exciting, award-winning kitchen? Do you love working with exceptional local ingredients, including estate-farmed and wild meats, vineyard-grown produce, and foraged delights? If so, this renowned Winery Restaurant could be your perfect next step!

Near Sevenoaks, Kent (countryside location – driving required)

Only 2 evening shifts per week!

Salary paid weekly or monthly – your choice!

Prestigious Setting – Work in a stunning English winery producing world-class sparkling wines, with a 2500-acre estate for foraging and sourcing ingredients.

Fantastic Work-Life Balance – Only 2 evening services per week! Lunch-focused hours with dinner service only on Fridays & Saturdays (occasional private events on Thursdays).

Incredible Ingredients – Estate-farmed meats, vineyard-grown produce, and hyper-seasonal cooking.

As our Sous Chef, you’ll play a key leadership role, driving the kitchen towards excellence. You’ll have the chance to:

  • Work with the best local & foraged produce
  • Contribute to menu development and push creative boundaries
  • Master butchery & meat aging in-house
  • Develop your career in a dynamic, ambitious team

Requirements:

  • Experience at 2 AA Rosette level or higher
  • Creative, detail-focused approach to cooking
  • Passion for sustainability, seasonality & foraging
  • Ability to thrive in a professional, fast-paced kitchen

Accommodation? Not currently available, so a car is essential due to the countryside location. Possible staff accommodation in the future.

Covers? 50 covers inside (100 in summer), plus weddings & private functions (up to 120 guests).
