Role Overview
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing shift activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the development of your team. You will act as a role model, promoting a professional and positive work environment while driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shift operations, delegating tasks, and prioritising workload effectively, stepping in for the Supervisor when required.
- Monitor and report staff attendance, conduct, and performance, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Train and mentor team members to support onboarding, development, and performance improvements.
- Support daily team briefings and foster strong internal communication.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and ensure accurate reporting of incidents, conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to all warehouse processes and procedures.
- Implement and sustain 5S and Opertune initiatives to drive efficiency and maintain high operational standards.
Shift Information
The shift pattern for this Team Leader role is Monday to Friday, 18:00-02:30.

Essential Skills
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, influence, provide feedback, and manage people effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Competence in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for reporting and communication.
- Experience in 3PL, FMCG, or Downstream Access environments (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Flexibility to work different shifts and locations as required.
- For some supervisory roles, a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Licence, First Aid, Fire Warden, or relevant Health & Safety Training will be required.
