Job description

I am currently recruiting for a procurement business partner for my client who helps practices and commissioners get the best care for patients while ensuring good value.

This is a remote working role with occasional travel to Manchester the office.

This is an exciting time to be joining this team of 4. This is a temporary role initially for 12 months but could well be extended.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience in public sector buying.
  • Willing to work in a small team, must manage own workload and exceed deadline expectations.
  • Wide experience of purchasing and business areas preferred as the work will involve supporting all the functions and teams within the organisation.
  • Ability to fully explain framework procurement's and how these can differ pending each framework and buyer's guide.
  • Knowledge and experience in both Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Ability to clearly explain how and why (pending on what you are buying (frameworks under 2015 regulations or new procurement's under the new Act)) the procurement process and requirements differ.
  • Ability to assist teams in writing their specifications, criteria, weighting, assessment questions etc.

£360 per day through Umbrella.
