Job description

Reporting to the Head of Organizational Effectiveness, the Organizational Design Senior Manager will lead the strategic reorganization and redesign of work, organizational structures, and roles in North America (NA) and Europe, impacted by the migration of work to relevant countries in line with the new target operating model. The role focuses on managing excess capacity, ensuring alignment with business goals, and enabling a seamless transition that supports future sustained and profitable growth. This role will initially be offered as a 6 month fixed-term contract.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the development and execution of organizational redesign strategies, plan and methodology to align with the migration goals supporting future target operating model.
  2. Facilitate the design of the future-state organizational structure, roles, and workforce distribution across impacted regions.
  3. Collaborate with senior leaders to manage excess capacity in NA and EMEA by identifying and addressing redundancy, redeployment, and reskilling opportunities.
  4. Act as a key advisor to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for long-term workforce planning.
  5. Partner with HR, business leaders, and the Knowledge Transfer Manager to ensure alignment of organizational changes with operational objectives and KPI’s.
  6. Facilitate decision-making and drive consensus among stakeholders for proposed organizational changes.
  7. Facilitate the design of policies and frameworks to manage workforce transitions, including redeployment, severance, and workforce optimization plans.
  8. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across impacted regions.
  9. Ensure comms and engagement plan is in place to enable a seamless transition of work from NA and EMEA to relevant locations.
  10. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of organizational changes, providing regular updates to leadership.
  11. Develop and track KPIs to assess the success of reorganization efforts and alignment with business objectives.
  12. Provide guidance and mentorship to the Organizational Design Manager and other team members.
  13. Oversee cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of redesign efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  2. 8+ years of experience in organizational design, workforce planning, or business transformation roles.
  3. Proven track record of leading large-scale organizational change programs.
  4. Certifications in organizational design, change management, or related fields are a plus.

PROFILE:

  1. Strong expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and restructuring.
  2. Strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex change programs.
  3. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Knowledge of global labor laws and compliance requirements.
  5. Proficiency in workforce planning tools and organizational design software, Orgvue preferably.
