Role Summary:

As a Venture Capital Associate, you’ll be integral to identifying, evaluating, and supporting early- to growth-stage technology investments in emerging sectors, including AI, blockchain, fintech, and health tech. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to build a career in venture capital, working closely with partners and portfolio companies while contributing to the development of high-potential startups in Switzerland and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and due diligence on emerging technologies and investment opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and the potential impact of new technologies.
• Work closely with partners in all stages of the investment process, from sourcing and deal execution to portfolio management.
• Assist in developing financial models, performing valuation analyses, and supporting investment recommendations.
• Engage with portfolio companies, supporting strategic initiatives and value creation.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, establishing a strong presence in the tech ecosystem.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a tech startup environment.
• Strong interest and understanding of emerging technologies, such as AI, blockchain, fintech, and health tech.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc in Finance or similar) preferred, though relevant experience in tech/VC may substitute.
