If your experience has been in the litigation field then this role as a Legal Assistant could be perfect for you. It’s a stand-alone role where you will manage your own client cases.
Some of your duties will include:
Managing a portfolio of litigation cases from instigation stage to completion
Dealing with debt matters, breach of contract, Landlord and Tenant, and some personal cases
Arranging meetings with clients to take instructions and to keep them up to date with their cases
Completing legal research on applicable regulations and laws
Drafting correspondence, legal documentation, contracts, and pleadings for clients and other parties
Supporting Lawyers and Barristers in handling cases and preparing for hearings and trials
