Job description

Main duties will include:

  1. Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders in order to compliment and contribute to the positive reputation of the company.
  2. To provide line management to a designated team of staff within a specified group at a location or group of locations within the allocated division.
  3. To undertake any reasonable traveling requirements in order to fulfil the tasks and responsibilities of the role. This may include supporting other locations within the Division as required.
  4. To set and communicate high standards of care and professional conduct within the team supervised.
  5. To lead and support compliance with Brainkind quality audits.
  6. To lead and support in health and safety duties as appropriate.
  7. To contribute information for the accurate notification of incidents/accidents/safeguarding as appropriate.
  8. Represent Brainkind at meetings and seminars and any other external events, where appropriate.

About You:

  1. NVQ / QCF level 3 HSC or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
  2. Previous experience of working within a care/support environment.
  3. Knowledge of current relevant legislation relating to care standards, health and safety and food hygiene.
  4. Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  5. Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach, being able to prioritise, plan and organise the workload.
