We currently offer a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, who are at the forefront of their product categories within the industry, supplying UK Retailers with the best produce from Worldwide Growers. Due to continued success, we are delighted to offer the opportunity of Supply Chain Planner to join the team.

Working as part of a dedicated team to ensure the smooth supply of Fresh Produce across 7 days a week, the position of Supply Chain Planner will report to the Commercial team and will work closely with Procurement Managers and commercial colleagues, becoming fundamental in the success of the product supply to key retail customers. The position offers a fast-paced environment and a great platform to become instrumental within the business, offering development and a path to procurement opportunities going forward.

This opportunity offers a varied portfolio of responsibilities to include:

1. Administer the set up of any new customers or products within our ERP system.
2. Set up Purchase Orders in the Prophet ERP system for all arrivals.
3. Coordinate with logistics to ensure that sufficient stock is available at all packing sites to fulfill orders.
4. Obtain stock inventory levels from any 3rd party packers and share with logistics.
5. Administer PO’s & process works orders in the Prophet ERP system where required.

We require:

1. Previous experience within a similar key support Supply Chain, Planner role, with exposure to ERP systems.
2. Supply Chain experience within Fresh Produce is essential.
3. Attention to detail, with excellent IT and numeracy skills; Microsoft.
4. Confident in the use of the system, Prophet.
5. Confident ability to work with all colleagues at all levels positively.

Salary: c£30-35k

Monday to Friday, weekend rota 1 in 3.
