Trainee Financial Planner - Banstead

We are working with a superb wealth management firm based in Banstead, Surrey who have the opportunity for a Trainee Financial Planner to join their team. They are offering the chance to train with their team to become a fully qualified adviser. You will receive learning support and hands-on experience, where you will be in control of how quickly you would like to be working as an adviser.

Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with the administration team to help gather policy information.
2. Help with projects: for example Mifid annual reviews, other client campaigns, annual portfolio rebalances.
3. Assist advisers in writing reports: e.g., annual review letters, client suitability reports.
4. Speaking directly to clients and carrying out client reviews.
5. Generating and converting opportunities into business.

Experience and qualifications:

1. Must have been studying for exams towards being an IFA or fully qualified.
2. May already have some financial services industry experience and want to move on.
3. Good with Excel, Word, etc.
4. Keen to quickly work through the ranks by working hard.
5. Good communication skills: phone, face-to-face, and written.
6. Study support is available.
7. Hold a driving license.

This is a 2/3 year programme with support for examinations to reach the fully qualified IFA status.
