Driver's Mate

Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for a Driver's Mate to work with our client in Reading. Our client is the UK's leading home improvement and garden living retailer and they currently require a Driver's Mate to work with them on an ongoing basis. The role can start between 7am and 11am and each shift will last 8 hours.

The general duties of this role will involve assisting the experienced driver to make deliveries of a variety of goods to residential addresses in the South of England.

The pay rates on offer are as follows:

• GBP12.83 per hour basic

These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.

There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.

The work will be 5 days per week with weekend work included.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Attainable references in a loading/warehouse capacity.
• Appropriate PPE (safety shoes and hi-viz).
