Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Days Based!
Tiverton, Devon
£38,000 - £42,000 + Training + 25 days holiday + BH + Healthcare plan.

This represents a brilliant opportunity to join one of the most successful companies in the South West, which continually invests in its people and grows as a company. My Client is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a days rota; they will consider candidates either with a Mechanical or Electrical Bias (although Mechanical is slightly preferred).

The role:

  1. Maintenance of Moulding machines, automated loading and assembly machines used within the manufacturing process.
  2. Drive and improve scheduled maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
  3. Assist with custom mechanical/electrical builds.
  4. Drive operational improvements working with Quality and Continuous improvement departments when required.
  5. Assist with production of tooling, jigs and fixtures.
  6. Setting bespoke machines using the company's internal programmable controls.

The Candidate:

  1. Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance engineer - Mech bias is preferred.
  2. Fundamental knowledge of Mechanical systems, either obtained via quals or experience.
  3. Experience of producing tooling, jigs and fixtures.
  4. Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience.
  5. Capable of working solo if required.
