Staycity Manchester Piccadilly is seeking a General Manager for a 1 year fixed term contract. The property has 182 keys.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel management, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, driving financial performance, and maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.

What you can do for us:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the hotel industry, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in 150+ rooms hotel management, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the hospitality and hotel industry.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.

• Provide strong leadership and direction to all hotel staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Mentor, coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Manage our team to ensure we deliver exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
• Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience.
• Develop and manage the hotel budget.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
• Drive occupancy and revenue through innovative sales initiatives.
• Enhance the hotel's brand presence in the market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, clients, suppliers, and the local community.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
