Van Delivery Driver

Job Title: Van Delivery Driver

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, South Kirkby

Salary: £12 - £18 per hour

Job Duties

• Deliver a wide variety of items to customers throughout the Yorkshire region
• Follow routes and time schedules
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• This role will involve heavy lifting at times
• Complete logs and reports

Required Qualifications

• Valid UK driver's licence
• Maximum of 6 points
• Proven work experience as a delivery driver
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations and a maximum of 6 points

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver

Knowledge And Skills

• Knowledge of local areas and roads
• Ability to lift heavy packages and goods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic maintenance knowledge of delivery vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in logistics or related field
• Experience with electronic devices and GPS systems

Working Conditions

• Physically demanding role involving loading and unloading of goods
• Driving in various weather conditions
• Interacting with customers on a daily basis
