Warehouse Forklift Driver Job in Tilbury (FLT Counterbalance)

Location: Tilbury, Essex
Pay Rate: £14 per hour – Weekly Pay
Working Hours: 11 am to 8 pm, Monday to Friday

Are you looking for a reliable Forklift Driver job in Tilbury? We have an exciting temporary-to-permanent warehouse position for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator.

Role Overview:

• Picking and loading multi-part warehouse orders accurately.
• Unloading stock deliveries and warehouse replenishment.
• Regular manual handling, including heavy lifting.
• Operating a counterbalanced forklift truck requires a valid certification and a minimum of 18 months of experience.
• Versatile role working both on and off the forklift truck within a busy warehouse environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Certificate.
• Proven forklift driving experience, loading/unloading (direct load or groupage highly desirable).
• Essential previous warehouse work experience.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting (wooden doors, sheet materials).
• Excellent attention to detail, and accuracy in picking orders.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A driving licence is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Must adhere to safety regulations wearing PPE, safety boots, and hi-vis on-site at all times.
