Master Vehicle Technician – Gillingham
Basic Salary - up to £45,000 - DOE & Quals
OTE - £42,000 (uncapped)

40 or 45 hour contract available

Our client, a busy franchised dealership in Gillingham, has the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established workshop team.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

As a Master Vehicle Technician, responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
  2. Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
  3. Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
  4. Mechanic Warranty Repairs
  5. Carry out New Car PDI's and Used Car Multi-Point Checks
  6. Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)
Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  1. Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  2. 2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience, Diagnostic qualifications
  3. Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

  1. Manufacturer Accreditations
  2. Hybrid/EV Accreditations
  3. Class 4 MOT Licence
Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £33,000 - £35,000 DOE
On Target Earnings of £40,000+ (uncapped)
40 or 45 hour contracts available
Overtime paid at time and a half (1.5)
Manufacturer Training Programme
EV/Hybrid Training
Opportunity to qualify as an MOT Tester
