The EMEA Sales Director will take charge of EO Charging’s commercial expansion across Europe’s key markets. This is a critical role that combines leadership, strategy, and hands-on business development to drive booking, secure high-value partnerships, and position EO Charging as a leader in the region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, managing complex sales cycles, delivering forecasting predictability using CRM tools and methodologies such as MEDDPIC, and successfully growing sales teams in high-growth industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the European sales strategy, aligned with EO Charging’s global goals.
Consistently drive and achieve sales targets, ‘best in class’ win rates, and market share growth across the region.
Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing regional sales team, instilling a culture of accountability and goal attainment.
Drive the adoption of the tools and sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC across the sales organisation to ensure consistent and effective deal qualification and execution.
Business Development
Build strong partnerships with enterprises, logistics providers, fleet operators and government transit authorities to accelerate EV adoption across Europe.
Identify new opportunities within target verticals and develop tailored strategies to capture market share.
Stay ahead of market trends, government incentives, and regulatory developments influencing EV charging infrastructure in Europe.
Account Management
Cultivate long-term relationships with high-value customers across Europe to secure recurring revenue and strategic partnerships.
Lead complex sales negotiations with enterprise customers, ensuring alignment with customer needs and EO Charging’s capabilities.
Work closely with the customer success and product teams to deliver superior solutions and drive customer satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
Establish and monitor regional sales KPIs and metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
Act as a key representative of EO Charging at European industry events, trade shows, and government/enterprise forums.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine value propositions tailored to the European market.
Qualifications
8+ years of sales leadership experience, with a significant focus on European markets.
Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in complex, enterprise-level sales environments.
Demonstrated success in managing and scaling high-performing sales teams across multiple countries.
Experience with MEDDPIC or similar methodologies for managing complex sales cycles.
Deep understanding of the European EV market, fleet electrification, or renewable energy industries.
