Job DescriptionWe are recruiting for an Associate Cost Manager who will work on some of Turner & Townsend alinea's most prestigious and prominent mixed use real estate commercial development projects, with project values ranging from £millions to £Billions.
You Will- Manage and lead aspects of quantity surveying and cost consultancy including pre and post contract duties
- Produce cost estimates and cost plans
- Manage the tender process, review and analyse tender returns and prepare recommendations to the client as well as advice on procurement routes
- Attend meetings, prepare financial reports and monitor on the status of projects
- Ensure the project remains on budget from design to completion phase
- Undertake full post-contract duties including establishing the effect of variations and evaluating and negotiating final account settlements
- Build and maintain working relationships with clients
- Manage junior team members to deliver our cost management service effectively.
Qualifications- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
- MRICS qualified
- UK Cost Management experience within the Real Estate/Property sector
- Experience working on larger projects of £10m value or over (or equivalent)
- Experience working on new build and fit-out projects
- Excellent communication skills and client facing.
