Senior Document Production Associate

Salary: £50,000 per annum, plus company benefits

Location: London, EC2N 4AG

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am until 5:30pm with 1 hours unpaid lunch break

Purpose of role

The Senior Document Production Associate position is responsible for providing document production and design services, with an emphasis on non-conventional thinking to meet client needs. This role values humility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach, ensuring support is offered wherever necessary to contribute to the Firm’s success.

Key responsibilities

  1. Intake client work requests, clarify instructions, and negotiate deadlines if needed, offering alternative solutions if applicable.
  2. Assess job requests thoroughly and ensure proper completion throughout the task lifecycle.
  3. Follow established procedures to complete document requests to client satisfaction, including editing, proofreading, and conversion.
  4. Exhibit a strong ability to think creatively, approaching challenges with a fresh perspective and seeking innovative solutions.
  5. Perform quality assurance on all work.
  6. Meet contracted deadlines for service delivery.
  7. Demonstrate proficiency with necessary equipment, software, and technology; communicate job or deadline concerns as needed.
  8. Troubleshoot more complex and unique software and hardware issues.
  9. Foster a proactive environment of continuous service improvement and client relationship building.
  10. Adhere to company and client policies.
  11. Use logs and tracking software for document production tasks.
  12. Participate in training new staff and supporting current staff development.

Personal attributes

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of document production experience, preferably in legal, banking, or large corporate environments.
  3. Self-motivated with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills, emphasizing accuracy and quality.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex tasks, equipment, or software independently and escalate issues when necessary.
  5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  6. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a customer service-oriented approach to interacting with clients and team members.
  7. Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  8. Document and Design production experience.
  9. Strong keyboarding and typing skills.
  10. Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
  11. Able to exercise good judgment to make decisions that conform to business needs and policy.
  12. Ability to work overtime as needed.
  13. Use equipment and supplies efficiently.
  14. Assist management with compiling monthly reports.
